Creation of a unique multidisciplinary centre for developing digital medicine, integrating a management system for cyber-health patients and for different "OMICS" data.

Among the different aspects of this initiative, Health 2030 is establishing a large scale genome analysis centre and is conceived as the technological hub of a broader genomic initiative, which will aim at advancing our knowledge about disease pathogenesis, improving human health through preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, and realizing the social and economic benefits of genomics research within the Lemanic region and Switzerland.

The sequencing centre will have the capacity to generate genomic data for both research and clinical applications, including cost-effective sequencing of full genomes and transcriptomes of humans, microbes and model organisms, as well as more targeted sequencing needs.
