Virtual event

1st Annual Meeting of the CyberPeace Institute

Human beings are always impacted when cyberattacks are conducted. But the asymmetry between the capacity of attackers and victims leaves large groups of populations vulnerable, often without the ability to fully recover. The CyberPeace Institute was created in 2019 to challenge the world and remind us all that digital space is first and foremost a human space. It is about human security, dignity and equity – about cyberpeace.

Join us on November 30, at 14:00 CET to discuss the complex path towards peace in cyberspace. Much more than just a livestream, come and connect to this unique and immersive virtual experience. Renowned experts from Switzerland and around the world will discuss ideas and initiatives to achieve cyberpeace in the digital world in four panels:

  1. Human security: accessing and protecting essential services such as healthcare, food and water.
  2. Human dignity and equity: accessing financial infrastructure and digital identity.
  3. Closing the accountability gap: using evidence-based analysis to mitigate the human impact of cyberattacks.
  4. Investing in cyberpeace: how philanthropy can contribute to peace in cyberspace.
